Truffles
In the hinterland of Istria, among the dark, dense forests surrounding the medieval towns of Motovun and Buzet, deep in the fertile soil lies an underground truffle mecca.
This region of Croatia features some of the richest grounds for uncovering the black diamond of Istria, better known as the truffle.
We snuffle
It is here that specially trained and enthusiastic truffle dogs snuffle out the wild truffles that star in every one of our products.
Truffles of course use to be famously found by pigs…
Unfortunately you can train a pig to find a truffle,
but you can’t train it not to eat the truffle once it has.
We do not use cultivated truffles.
We only use wild foraged Black Summer Truffles (tuber aestivum vitt.)

EXCEPTIONAL HANDCOOKED POTATO CHIPS
WITH WILD BLACK TRUFFLES
Every chip we make is from potatoes that we plant, nurture and pick ourselves from our own fields. Or grown by local co-operatives.
Our production facility has been proudly making chips for over 30 years.
Our gourmet chips are hand cooked in a kettle with sunflower oil and made in batch style. This means they are carefully fried at a lower temperature which makes the thicker cut absorb less oil, preserving the delicate potato flavour.
We then tumble the chips through our special truffle dust made from wild foraged summer black truffle for that unique luxurious flavour.

LIGHT AND CRIPSY POPCORN
WITH WILD BLACK TRUFFLES
Our gourmet popcorn is made with zea mays everta corn.
It is 100% whole grain, light and fluffy and is high in fiber and antioxidants.
We then tumble corn freshly popped through our special truffle dust for that delicious luxurious flavour.
